Manly Harbour Marine, one of our Brisbane dealers, recently completed a successful repower of a Black Watch 28 Sedan. The Owner was looking for greater reliability and improved features.
With the guidance of Manly Harbour Marine and the support of Seamech, Paul – the vessel’s owner – decided on the D6-330 Diesel Engine with the DPH leg. This proven engine package is known for its reliability, power and fuel economy. Paul also opted for the five-year extended warranty which gives him and his family real peace of mind boating. Paul enjoys many of the benefits this package provides and is extremely happy with whole repower process.
Performance Specifications
Old Engine: 350HP Turbo Diesel (non Volvo Penta) and prior to that a Mercruiser gasoline.
New Engine: Volvo Penta D6-330 and DPH leg
Accessories: Volvo Penta 10-inch Glass cockpit display
Results: Increased top speed with lower planning speed for improved economy. Better Handling and sharper turning.
Installation
